Waropenis anAustronesian languagespoken at the Geelvink Bay ofIndonesian Papua.It is fairly closely related to theYapen languages. Dialects are Waropen Kai, Napan, and Ambumi.

Distribution
[edit]InPapua province,it is spoken inMamberamo Raya RegencyandWaropen Regency.The Ambumi dialect also called Waruri is spoken in Ambumi village inWondama Bay Regency,West Papua.[4]Waropen is also spoken southwest to the Rombak River mouth.
