White Nile State(Arabic:النيل الأبيضAn Nīl al Ābyaḍ) is one of the 18wilayator states ofSudan.It has an area of 39,701km2and an estimated population of approximately 2,493,880 people (2018 est). Since 1994Rabakis the capital of the state; other important cities includeKostiandEd Dueim.
The state is administratively subdivided into four districts:
- Ad Douiem
- Al Gutaina
- Kosti
- Al Jabalian
