ThisWikiProjectwas formed to foster better articles on the countries ofSoutheast AsiaandASEANwith a spirit of cooperation.

The scope of this project is all articles which fall in theCategory:Southeast Asian countries. We acknowledge up front that there may be other WikiProjects, both now and in the future, which deal directly with individual nations or areas within the above. We are grateful for their efforts, and will concentrate our own on those areas which are not covered by a currently existing project.
