William Pizzutois an AmericanRepublican Partypolitician currently serving as a member of theConnecticut House of Representativesfrom the 71st district, which includes the town ofMiddleburyand part of the city ofWaterbury,since 2022.[1]Following the 2021 resignation ofAnthony D'Amelio,Pizzuto was elected to the seat in a February 2022special electionoverDemocratJohn Egan.[2]Pizzuto formerly served as the campus director for theUniversity of Connecticut's Waterbury campus.[1]
