She won the gold medal in thedouble scullevent with her partnerLarisa Popovain the1980 Moscow Olympic Gamesrepresenting theSoviet Union.She also won a bronze medal in thequadruple scullevent at1992 Moscow Barcelona Olympic Games.[1]She also won various medals atWorld Rowing Championships.[2]
