TheYinwum,also writtenJinwum,were anindigenous Australianpeople of theCape York PeninsulaofQueensland.

The Yinwum's native lands covered an extent estimated at 800 square miles (2,100 km2) about the upperWenlock River(Batavia) River south ofMoreton Telegraph Station.[1]TheNyuwathaiwere to their north; theKoko-Yaoto their east; theMbewumandWikampamato their southwest, while theNdwangithordeof theWinduwindalay to their west, over the Cox river.[2]
