Yozgat Province(Turkish:Yozgat ili) is aprovincein centralTurkey.Its area is 13,690 km2,[2]and its population is 418,442 (2022).[1]Its adjacent provinces areÇorumto the northwest,Kırıkkaleto the west,Kırşehirto the southwest,Nevşehirto the south,Kayserito the southeast,Sivasto the east,Tokatto the northeast, andAmasyato the north. The provincial capital isYozgat.
Toponymy
