Yuval Adler(Hebrew:יובל אדלר; bornHerzliya,Israel) is an Israeli filmmaker.[1][2]Adler is perhaps best known for directingBethlehem(2013), a film for which he won theOphir Awardfor best director and best screenplay.[3][4]Several scenes inBethlehemwere filmed in theWest Bank.[5][6]It was described inHaaretzas 'one of the most powerful Israeli films ever made.'[5]

Adler studied mathematics and physics atTel Aviv Universityand received a PhD inphilosophyfromColumbia UniversityinNew York City.[1]
