Zinaida Alexandrovna Kupriyanovich[a](born 17 September 2002), sometimes known professionally asZina KupriyanovichorZena(stylized asZENA), and now known asZina Bless,is a Belarusian singer, actress, and television presenter. Kupriyanovichrepresented Belarusin theEurovision Song Contest 2019with the song "Like It",placing 24th in the final. She has additionally cohosted theJunior Eurovision Song Contest 2018inMinsk,and voiced theRussian dubof the eponymous character in the filmMoana(2016).
Career[edit]
Kupriyanovich began her career as a child singer in 2013, competing inNew Wave Junior 2013and2014 Junior Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.[1]
Kupriyanovich competed in theBelarusian national finalfor theJunior Eurovision Song Contesttwice; she placed fourth in2015with the song "Mir" and third in2016with the song "Kosmos".[2][3]In 2017, she placed third in the tenth season ofFabrika Zvyozd,the Russian version ofOperación Triunfo.Afterwards, Kupriyanovich began a career in television presenting, and co-hosted theJunior Eurovision Song Contest 2018inMinskalongsideEvgeny PerlinandHelena Meraai.As an actress, she has voiced theRussian dubof the character Moana in the filmsMoanaandRalph Breaks the Internet.[4]
Sherepresented Belarusin theEurovision Song Contest 2019with the song "Like It".She qualified to the final, where she scored 31 points, finishing 24th out of 26 countries.[5][6][7]Since the 2020 contest was cancelled,[8]and Belarus was disqualified from the 2021 contest,[9]and banned from entering future contests,[10]Kupriyanovich remains the last Belarusian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest indefinitely (the last Belarusian at any Eurovision event was Arina Pehtereva at the 2020 Junior Eurovision).
