TheBRWRich 200, 2012is the 29th annual survey of the wealthiest people resident inAustralia,published in hardcopy and online formats in theBRWmagazine on 24 May 2012.[1]

In the 2012 list, thenet worthof the wealthiest individual,Gina Rinehart,wasA$29.17billion.

TheBRW Rich Families Listwas published annually since 2008. In the 2012 list, theSmorgon familyheaded the list with estimated wealth ofA$2.63 billion.[2]The Smorgon families headed the families list in every year of its publication. The families list was last published in 2015.[3]
