Barry Gjerdeis a Norwegian-born Canadian[1]-Japanese voice actor who has worked for many years in Japan as a voice actor, and as atranslator;mostly narrating various corporate projects and providing Englishvoice actingfor video games.

Career

Gjerde is best known for his voicing of the characterBarry Burtonin the original version ofResident Evil.[1]He also provided the voice of Rick in the gameClock Tower.InMega Man X7he provided the voice ofRed,a rival Maverick hunter.

Gjerde also played guitar and did vocals for a band called "Hotel No-Tell" with Ian MacDougall (vocals, guitar), Tom Gottsman (bass guitar, vocals), Jon MacKenzie (vocals, bass guitar), and John Boudreau (drums). They released anextended playin 1989.[2]
