Cuichapais amunicipalityin theMexicanstateofVeracruz.
Geography
[edit]Cuichapa is located in central zone of the state, about 90 km from the state capitalXalapa.It has a surface of 69.92 km2. It is located at18°46′N96°52′W/ 18.767°N 96.867°W.The municipality of Cuichapa is delimited to the north byYanga,to the north-west byAmatlán de los Reyes,to the south byOmealca,and to the west byCoetzala.[1]
Climate
[edit]The weather in Cuichapa is warm-medium all year with rains in summer and autumn.
Agriculture
[edit]It produces principallymaizeandbeans.
Society
[edit]The Patron of the town isSan Isidro Labrador,who is honored with a celebration in May.
Transportation
[edit]Cuichapa is home to a station onTren Interoceánico'sLine FA,[2]which opened on 13 September 2024.[3][4][5][6]
