Divya Madernais an Indian politician from Rajasthan. She is a member of theIndian National Congress(INC) and was elected as MLA of theOsianconstituency in the 2018 elections.[1][2]

Life[edit]

Maderna is the daughter of government ministerMahipal Madernaand Leela Maderna.[3]Her grandfatherParasram Madernaalso worked in politics, serving as a cabinet minister in theRajasthanLegislative Assembly.

Maderna holds a post-graduate degree in economics from theUniversity of Nottingham,England. In 2010, at the age of 26, she successfully contested theDistrict councilpolls inOsian,Jodhpur.[1]She contested the Rajasthan legislative assembly elections in 2018 forOsian,Jodhpuron a ticket of theIndian National Congressand won.[4]

She lost in 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election to Bhera Ram Choudhary of BJP.
