Gayónis an extinct language of westernVenezuela,spoken at the sources of theTocuyo Riverin the state ofLara.Other than being part of theJirajaran family,its classification is uncertain due to a lack of data.Coyónis sometimes given as an alternative name (LinguistList), but may simply be an undocumented neighboring language (Loukotka 1968).[1]
