Hiṭia(Classical Mandaic:ࡄࡉࡈࡉࡀ), alternatively known asKanun(Classical Mandaic:ࡊࡀࡍࡅࡍ),[1]is the eleventh month of theMandaean calendar.[2]The first day of the month isDehwa Daimana,thebirthday of John the Baptist.[3]

It is the Mandaic name for the constellationSagittarius.[2]It currently corresponds to May / June in the Gregorian calendar due to a lack of a leap year in the Mandaean calendar.
