History

The station was assigned the call sign KAYI on November 10, 1997. On November 7, 2000, the station changed its call sign to the current KTOH.[2]

The station operates twoHD Radiosubchannels,classic hitsSunny 101.3,andactive rock107.9 The X.Both channels' present formats launched in February 2023 to replaceoldiesandHawaiian music/tourist informationformats respectively. Both stations are simulcast inanalogon the low-power translators 101.3 FM/Kapaa and 107.9 FM/Kalaheo respectively.[3][4]
