Laingkatis an extinct town inDecatur County,in theU.S. stateofGeorgia.TheGNISclassifies it as a populated place.[1]A variant name is "Land Cat".[1]

History

The community was named afterLangkat,in the Indonesian province ofNorth Sumatra,the origin of a type of tobacco grown locally in Georgia.[2]
