"My Moscow"(Russian:Моя Москва,romanized:Mojá Moskvá,pronounced[mɐˈjamɐskˈva]) is the municipal anthem of the Russian city ofMoscowsince 1995. The music was composed in 1941 byIsaak Dunayevskyand the lyrics were written bySergey AgranyanandMark Lisyansky.
The original performer wasZoya Rozhdestvenskaya.[1]
The original lyrics had four verses, of which the last pertained toJoseph Stalin.They were replaced by the current lyrics which were introduced during theLeonid Brezhnevera.
