NBA Clutch Player of the Year

TheNBA Clutch Player of the Yearis an award given to aNational Basketball Association( NBA ) player who "best comes through for his teammates in theclutch"in the regular season. The winner receives theJerry West Trophy.[1]The trophy is named afterJerry West,who had a reputation of being a clutch player when he played for theLos Angeles Lakersfor his entire career from 1960 to 1974.[2][3]The award debuted for the2022–23 season,and players are voted on by a media panel based on nominations from NBA head coaches.[1][4]
