Samuel J Nogajski(born 1 January 1979) is an Australiancricket umpire.He stood as an umpire in the2016–17 Ranji TrophyinIndia.
Career
[edit]Until 2012, Nogajski was a maths teacher atThe Hutchins School.[1][2]In 2012, he became part of the National Umpire Panel.[1]
In 2016, Nogajski became part ofCricket Australia's international panel of umpires.[1]
Nogajski stood in his firstTwenty20 International(T20I) on 19 February 2017, in the match betweenAustralia and Sri LankaatKardinia Park,Geelong.[3][4]He made hisOne Day International(ODI) umpiring debut on 6 October 2017, in the match betweenPapua New GuineaandScotlandin the2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.[5]
In October 2018, Nogajski was named as one of thetwelve on-field umpiresfor the2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20.[6]In October 2019, he was appointed as one of the twelve umpires to officiate matches in the2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiertournament in the United Arab Emirates.[7]In January 2020, he was named as one of the sixteen umpires for the2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cuptournament in South Africa.[8]
