Eleonor "Pola" Ofelia Harboure de Aguilera (June 15, 1948–January 15, 2022), who published professionally as Eleonor Harboure, was a mathematician fromArgentinawho was the first woman president ofUnión Matemática Argentina(UMA), the Argentian mathematical professional society. Harboure also served as the UMA's secretary.[1]

Harboure earned a PhD from theUniversity of Minnesotain 1978. Her PhD advisor was Nestor Marcelo Riviere and her dissertation work was infunctional analysis.She had 8 PhD students of her own.[2]
