Tyler David Wolff(born February 13, 2003) is an American professionalsoccerplayer who plays as awingerforMajor League SoccerclubAtlanta United.

Career

Born inSnellville, Georgia,[citation needed]Wolff began his career in the youth academy at theColumbus Crew.[1]In 2019, Wolff joined the academy atAtlanta United.[1]After impressing with the under-17s, Wolff made his debut for the club's reserve sideAtlanta United 2on August 8, 2020, in theUSL Championshipagainst theCharleston Battery.He started and played 62 minutes as Atlanta United 2 were defeated 1–0.[2]

On July 2, 2020, Wolff signed a first team contract withMajor League SoccerclubAtlanta United.[3]Wolff made his debut for the club on September 2 againstInter Miami,coming on as a 63rd-minute substitute forEsequiel Barcoin a 0–0 draw.[4]He then scored his first professional goal forAtlanta United 2,the club's reserve affiliate in theUSL Championship,on May 15, 2021, againstOKC Energy.His goal was an 89th-minute equalizer in a 2–2 away draw.[5]Wolff scored a hat-trick for Atlanta United 2 on August 8, 2021, in a 6–2 victory againstIndy Elevenfor which he was awarded USL Championship player of the week for week 16 of the2021season.[6]

SK Beveren (loan)

On July 8, 2022, Wolff was loaned to BelgianChallenger Pro LeaguesideSK Beveren.[7]After seven substitute appearances, he was recalled on January 4, 2023.[8]

Wolff is the eldest son ofAustin FChead coach (and longtimeUSMNTplayer)Josh Wolff,and his younger brotherOwen Wolffcurrently plays forAustin FC.They are ofFilipinodescent on their mother's side.[9]
