Ge with stroke and hook(Ӻ ӻ; italics:Ӻ ӻ) is a letter of theCyrillic script,formed from theCyrillic letter Ge(Г гГ г) by adding a horizontal stroke and a hook. InUnicodethis letter is called "Ghe with stroke and hook".[1]It is similar in shape to the Latin letterF with hook(Ƒ ƒ) but is unrelated.
Ge with stroke and hook is only used in theNivkh language,where it represents thevoiced uvular fricative/ʁ/,like therinFrench.[2]
It can be replaced by thege with stroke and descender,which has not yet been encoded in Unicode.
