Registration of names including accented letters (á, é, í, ó, ú),ñandüwas opened up in 2005.[5]

Since April 2011, it supportsDNSSEC.[6]

Microsoftused it in adomain hackfor itssocial networking serviceso.cl.Oracle Corporation used the domain hack ora.cl as aURL shortening[7]

IPv6 support[edit]

In the Hurricane Electric report from May 2012, it appears as IPv6 enabled domain and with nameservers in IPv6.[8]
