Domain hacks
[edit]Domain hacksfor the.si TLD are quite popular, sincesiis second person singular of the verb 'to be' in Slovene and some other Slavic languages. As such, many domains have been created that are using such domain hacks, one of the most popular beingzadovoljna.si('You are pleased', feminine form).
Síalso translates fromSpanishasyes,so the TLD has been used by some Spanish-language websites. A notable example of this is theMexicanpolitical partyMORENA,whose website is found atmorena.si.
Italian partySinistra Italiana(abbreviation: SI) also uses Slovenian domain for its website (sinistraitaliana.si).
Pepsiuses theURL shorteningpep.si.
The video conferencing softwareJitsiis hosted on jit.si.
