Infantry regiment of the British Army
The131st Regiment of Footwas an infantryregimentof theBritish Army,created in 1793 and disbanded in 1796. The regiment was raised by GeneralHenry Edward Fox,with the colonelcy being transferred toLowther Pennington, 2nd Baron Muncastershortly thereafter.[1]
