Aby-electionfor the constituency ofStirling and Falkirkin theHouse of Commonswas held on 7 October 1948, caused by the death of the incumbent Labour MPJoseph Westwood.The result was a hold for the Labour Party, with their candidateMalcolm MacPherson.
