The1974 Michigan Attorney General electionwas held on 5 November 1974 in order to elect theAttorney General of Michigan.Democraticnominee andincumbentAttorney GeneralFrank J. Kelleywon re-election againstRepublicannomineeMyron H. Wahls Sr.,American IndependentnomineeRay D. MarkelandHuman RightsnomineeClarice Jobes.[1]
General election[edit]
On election day, 5 November 1978,DemocraticnomineeFrank J. Kelleywon re-election by a margin of 1,002,491 votes against his foremost opponentRepublicannominee Myron H. Wahls Sr., thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of Attorney General. Kelley was sworn in for his fifth term on 1 January 1975.[2]
