The game was tied 3-3 at halftime on field goals byNorm Johnsonof theAtlanta FalconsandGary Andersonof thePittsburgh Steelers.The NFC scored late in the 3rd quarter on a 4-yard touchdown run by Los Angeles Ram rookie,Jerome Bettis.The NFC scored again in the 4th quarter on a touchdown pass fromBobby Hebert(Falcons) toCris Carter(Minnesota Vikings) to provide the final margin.[2]

Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Thomas Everett, Bruce Smith and Andre Reed were selected for the 1994 Pro Bowl, but backed out due to injuries fromSuper Bowl XXVIII.[3]
