2014 Michigan elections

Ageneral electionwas held in theU.S. stateofMichiganon November 4, 2014. Primary elections were held on August 5, 2014.

Voters elected all four executive officers and both houses of thestate legislature,as well as the state's delegations to theU.S. Houseand one of its twoU.S. Senateseats.

As of 2022, this remains the last time that theRepublican Partyhas won any statewide office in Michigan.

Federal elections[edit]

U.S. Senate[edit]

Incumbent DemocraticSenatorCarl Levinwas re-elected in2008with 62.7% of the vote. He retired instead of seeking a seventh term. U.S. RepresentativeGary Petersdefeated former secretary of stateTerri Lynn Landin the general election.
