The2018 Oakland mayoral electionwas held on November 6, 2018, to elect themayorofOakland, California.Incumbent mayorLibby Schaafwas reelected. The election was held usinginstant-runoff voting,but Schaaf received a majority of votes in the first round, so no additional rounds were necessary.[1][2]
Municipal elections in California are officially non-partisan.
