The2019 Exeter City Council electiontook place on 2 May 2019 to elect the members ofExeter City CouncilinDevon,England. This was on the same day as otherlocal elections.14 of the 39 seats were up for re-election: those of the candidates who had finished second in theall-out election of 2016,with a double vacancy in Priory ward. TheLabour Partyremained in control with 29 seats, with the Conservatives as the main opposition party, with 6 seats.[2]
