The2023–24 Thai League 1was the 27th season of theThai League 1,the top Thai professional league forassociation footballclubs, since its establishment in 1996, also known asHilux Revo Thai Leaguedue to the sponsorship deal withToyota Motor Thailand.A total of 16 teams will compete in the league.
The 1st transfer window is from 25 May to 9 August 2022 while the 2nd transfer window is from 19 December 2022 to 17 January 2023.
Buriram Unitedare the defending champions, whileNakhon Pathom United,Trat,andUthai Thanihave entered as the promoted teams from the2022–23 Thai League 2.

Teams
[edit]There are 16 clubs in the league, with three promoted teams fromThai League 2replacing the three teams that were relegated from the2022-23 season.
Nakhon Ratchasima,Nongbua PitchayaandLampangwere relegated at the end of the 2022–23 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the table. Lampang made their immediate return to the second-tier, Nongbua Pitchaya ended a 2-year stint in the top-flight, while Nakhon Ratchasima ended an 8-year tenure in the top-flight. The three were replaced by2022-23 Thai League 2championsNakhon Pathom United,who are returning to the top-flight after a 14-year exile that saw them participating in the lowest tier of Thai professional football in the2018 season.They were joined by runners-upTrat,who are returning to the top-flight after 2 years away andUthai Thani,the promotion playoff winner which was first held in 2020–21 season. While the 2023-24 season will be Uthai Thani’s debut in the top-flight, their predecessorsAir Force Unitedwere last featured in the top-flight back in the2018 season.
