The2024 One-Day Cup(also known as for sponsorship reasons as2024Metro BankOne Day Cup)[1]was alimited overs cricketcompetition in England and Wales.[2]Matches were contested over 50 overs per side, havingList A cricketstatus, with all eighteenfirst-class countiescompeted in the tournament.[3]The tournament started on 24 July 2024, with the final scheduled to take place on 22 September 2024.[4]However, heavy rain forced it to be moved to the reserve day, 23 September 2024.[5]In November 2023,England and Wales Cricket Boardconfirmed the fixtures for the tournament, as a part of the 2024 English domestic cricket season.[6][7]Leicestershirewere the defending champions, having won the2023 tournament.[8]

Glamorganwon the tournament after beatingSomersetin the rain affected final.[9][10]
