69 Cetiis a single[7]starlocated around 860[1]light yearsaway in theequatorialconstellationofCetus.It is visible to the naked eye with anapparent visual magnitudeof 5.3.[2]This is an agingred giantstar with astellar classificationof M1/2III.[3]It is radiating 1,813 times theSun's luminosityfrom an enlargedphotosphere,100 times theSun's radius,at aneffective temperatureof 3,765 K.[1]
