Aaron Covington(born June 5, 1984) is an American screenwriter andsound designerfromNorthwest Indiana.[2]

Early life

He attendedOhio State Universityand graduated from theUniversity of Southern Californiain 2011 with aMFAinfilm production.[1]He took part in numerous productions for theUSC School of Cinematic Artsas a sound designer.[3][4][5]

Career

Covington co-wrote the screenplay for the 2015 filmCreed,aspin-off-sequelto theRockyfilm series,starringSylvester StalloneandMichael B. Jordan,withRyan Coogler,who also directed the film.[6][7][2]Covington is a personal friend of Coogler,[8]and the two worked together with Stallone togreen-lightthe film withMGMstudios.[9][10][11]

Covington wrote and directed the storyline for the MyCareer mode in the video gameNBA 2K17.[12]
