Airportis one of the seven district electoral areas (DEA) inAntrim and Newtownabbey,Northern Ireland.[1]The district elects five members toAntrim and Newtownabbey Borough Counciland contains the wards of Aldergrove, Clady, Crumlin, Mallusk and Templepatrick.[2]Airport forms part of the South Antrim constituencies for theNorthern Ireland AssemblyandUK Parliament.
It was created for the2014 local elections,largely replacing theAntrim South East DEAwhich had existed since 1985.
