InEgyptian mythology,Am-hehwas a minor god from the underworld, whose name means either "devourer of millions" or "eater of eternity".[1]He was depicted as a man with the head of ahunting dogwho lived in alake of fire.[2]He is sometimes seen as an aspect ofAmmit,the personification of divine retribution. Am-heh could only be repelled by the godAtum.[3]
