André-Frank Zambo Anguissa(born 16 November 1995), also known asFrank Anguissa,is a Cameroonian professionalfootballerwho plays as acentral midfielderforSerie AclubNapoliand theCameroon national team.[3]
Club career

[edit]Zambo Anguissa joinedMarseillein 2015 fromStade de Reims.He made his first team debut on 17 September 2015 in theUEFA Europa LeagueagainstFC Groningen.[4]Three days later, he made hisLigue 1debut againstLyon.[5]
On 16 May 2018, Zambo Anguissa played in the2018 UEFA Europa League final,which Marseille lost againstAtlético Madridat theParc Olympique LyonnaisinDécines-Charpieu,Lyon,France.[6]
Fulham
[edit]In August 2018, Zambo Anguissa was transferred toFulhamfrom Marseille, and then loaned toVillarrealin July 2019 following Fulham's relegation from thePremier League.[7]He made his Villarreal debut on 17 August, playing the full 90 minutes in a 4–4 home draw againstGranada.[8]
On 31 August 2021, Zambo Anguissa signed a new three-year contract with the Championship club before heading out on loan toNapolifor the2021–22 season.[9][10]
Napoli
[edit]On 26 May 2022, Napoli purchased Zambo Anguissa's rights from Fulham.[11]On 7 September, he scored his firstChampions Leaguegoal in a 4–1 win overLiverpool.[12]On 1 October, he scored his firstSerie Agoals, by netting a brace in a 3–1 win overTorino.[13]At the end of the season, Zambo Anguissa and Napoli won theSerie A titlefor the first time in 33 years.[14]
International career
[edit]Zambo Anguissa made his international debut for theCameroon national teamin afriendly1–0 win overTunisiaon 24 March 2017.[15][16]
Zambo Anguissa was included in theIndomitable Lions'squad for the2017 FIFA Confederations Cupin Russia. He would score his first international goal in Cameroon's 1–1 group stage draw againstAustralia.[17]
In June 2019, Zambo Anguissa was named to Cameroon's squad for the2019 Africa Cup of Nationsin Egypt.[citation needed]He would also feature at the2021 tournament,in which Cameroon were hosts and finished in third place.[citation needed]
At the end of the 2022 calendar year, Zambo Anguissa would be called up by new national team managerRigobert Songto Cameroon's squad for the2022 FIFA World Cupin Qatar. He played in all three group stage matches as his side failed to progress to the second round.[citation needed]
