Andrea Bussmann(born 1980) is aCanadianfilm director and screenwriter, most noted for her 2018 filmFausto.[1]The film was longlisted for theDirectors Guild of Canada's Discovery Award in 2018,[2]and was shortlisted for theVancouver Film Critics Circle's award forBest Canadian Filmat theVancouver Film Critics Circle Awards 2018.Bussmann was also shortlisted forBest Director of a Canadian Film.[3]

She is married to film directorNicolás Pereda,with whom she codirected the 2016 filmTales of Two Who Dreamt.[4]
