TheAntsi(Anchi) language orMag-antsi(also Mag-Anchi Ayta) is aSambalic languagewith around 4,200 speakers.[1]It is spoken within PhilippineAetacommunities in theZambalmunicipalitiesofBotolan,San Marcelino,andCastillejos;in theTarlaqueñomunicipalities ofCapasandBamban;inMabalacat, Pampanga;and inAngeles City.The use of the language is declining as its speakers are shifting toKapampanganorIlocano.The language ismutually intelligiblewithMag-Indi Ayta(77%) andAmbala Ayta(65%).[2]
