TheApuliorBiefiwere aDaciantribe centered at the Dacian townApulon(LatinApulum) near what is nowAlba IuliainTransylvania,Romania.

Apulihas clear resemblance toApulia,the ancient southeasternItalyregion, which is believed to have been settled byIllyrian tribes(also namedApuliorIapyges).

Linguists use it as an example for the similarities between Illyrian andDacian language.[1]
