Ariarathes X,surnamedEusebes Philadelphos,"Pious, brother-loving" (Ancient Greek:Ἀριαράθης Εὐσεβής Φιλάδελφος,Ariaráthēs Eusebḗs Philádelphos), was the king ofCappadociafrom c. 42 BC to 36 BC. He was ofPersianandGreekancestry. His father was KingAriobarzanes II of Cappadociaand his mother was QueenAthenais.He became king after his brotherAriobarzanes III Philoromaioswas killed. His rule did not last long asMark Antonyof Rome removed and executed him, replacing him with Sisines, who becameArchelaus of Cappadocia.
