Arribes del Duero Natural Parkis a protected area in westernSpain,covering 106.105hain theautonomous communityofCastile and León.In this area the riverDueroforms the national boundary between Spain and Portugal, and the Portuguese side is also protected under theDouro International Natural Park. The most notable characteristics of this natural space are itsbiodiversityand range ofwatercourses,which have eroded deep valleys and vertiginous precipices. This landscape is known asArribes,which is where the reserve name comes from.
