Art Welch(born 16 April 1944) is a Jamaican former professionalsoccerplayer who played in theNorth American Soccer LeagueandMajor Indoor Soccer League.

He began his career in Jamaica withCavaliers FC,alongside twin brotherAsher.[citation needed]

In May 1977, theLas Vegas Quicksilverstraded Welch to theWashington Diplomatsin exchange forTom Galati.[1]

Welch also represented theJamaica national teamin international play, appearing in qualifying matches for the1966and1970World Cup tournaments.[2]
