Avalanche Recordingsis anindependent record label,founded by English musicianJustin Broadrickin 1999. It is named after Broadrick's own recording studio, Avalanche Studios, and mainly releases Justin Broadrick's projects.[1][2]
The first release of the label was Godflesh's previously unreleased EP,Messiahin 2000.[2]This was followed by Zonal'sThe Quatermass Project Volume 1,released in the same year.[3]
The label extensively released various Jesu recordings, includingPale Sketchesin 2007,[1]Infinityin 2009 andEveryday I Get Closer to the Light from Which I Camein 2013.[4][5][6]
On 29 March 2013, Justin Broadrick announced viaTwitterthat the label's official website would be migrating toBandcampand operating under there.[7]
