Ayamachay[1](possibly fromQuechuaayacorpse,mach'aycave)[2]is an archaeological site with rock paintings inPeru.It is situated in theCusco Region,Canchis Province,Combapata District,above the left bank of the Salqa or Salcca river near the village of Oroscocha or Oroscocha.[1][3]The paintings are predominantly white and show abstract or geometrical figures.[1]

West of Ayamach'ay there is another site with rock art namedLlamachayuq Qaqa.
