Beacon's Bottom,also known asBacon's Bottom,[1][2]is ahamleton theA40betweenPiddingtonandStokenchurchin England. Until 1895 it was administratively part ofOxfordshire,and wastransferred to Buckinghamshirewith its parent parish Stokenchurch in 1896.[1]It was one of the principal sites ofHigh Wycombe's 19th Century chair-making industry, known locally asbodging.[3][4]
