TheBear Riveris a 2.7-mile-long (4.3 km)[1]tributaryofLong Lakein theU.S. stateofMaine.It originates at the outlet of Bear Pond in the town ofWaterfordinOxford County,then flows southeast into the town ofBridgtoninCumberland Countyand finally the town ofHarrison,where it reaches Long Lake. Via Long Lake, theSongo River,andSebago Lake,the Bear River is part of thePresumpscot Riverwatershed, flowing toCasco Bayon theAtlantic Ocean.
