Begging for Love(Ái を khất うひと,Ai o Kou Hito)is a 1998 Japanese film directed byHideyuki Hirayama.It was Japan's submission to the71st Academy Awardsfor theAcademy Award for Best Foreign Language Film,but was not accepted as a nominee.[2][3]It was chosen as Best Film at theJapan Academy Prizeceremony.[4]
